Happy summer, girl!

So this summer I am planning my very first-ever vacation! That’s right, my first vacation! (Unless you count a road trip to Texas as a kid…which I don’t) I’m beyond excited! It’s only a quick 2-day trip, but I am still really looking forward to it! So, in anticipation of my mini vacay, I decided to put together some must-have summer travel essentials.

So if you’re doing any traveling this summer, then this should be your first stop! Let’s get into these summer travel essentials!

Summer Travel Essentials 

The first travel essential is a good carry-on/travel bag. Whether you’re getting off on a plane, or road trippin’ it, a good, stylish, and well-organized travel bag is an absolute must-have!

This one right here is my personal choice, as it has an organized compartment, is lightweight yet durable, and works perfectly as a carry-on bag, or weekender bag, and also has a luggage sleeve to fit right over your suitcase! There is also an exterior pocket and an adjustable strap! It comes in a few different colors and patterns as well! It’s the perfect bag!

 Next is of course the right bag for all your toiletries and beauty products. I just bought this one for my trip and am really excited to see how well it fits all my makeup! I like the clear look of it, but it also comes in solid black and pink as well!

 Moving right along into the beauty category, we of course have sunscreen! This is something you absolutely cannot forget! The best of the best for your face is the Babo Botanicals Sheer Mineral Facial Tinted Sunscreen. It’s the cleanest option made with all non-toxic ingredients and a mineral SPF of 50. It’s slightly tinted and will work with any skin tone, no white cast or ashy tone! It’s very lightweight and will not leave your face feeling heavy or greasy!

For your body, I highly recommend sticking with Babo Botanicals! Their Sheer Mineral Sunscreen Lotion is the best all-over sunscreen for safe sun protection! Again, it is lightweight so it doesn’t feel greasy, and has an SPF of 50!

 When applying your daily sunscreen, don’t forget your lips! Your lips can become dry, chapped, and yes, at risk for sun damage! So snag this Modern Ritual SPF 30 lip balm!  I swipe this on every day before I head out no matter what I’m doing to protect my lips! If you’re going on vacation, then you gotta have this on hand!

 Now we come to the after-sun care! Having a good clean aloe vera with you is a smart idea in case you still manage to get too much sun! It’s also great as a daily facial moisturizer and helps in all sorts of ways! It’s definitely a good idea to have some aloe vera in your bag!

 Depending on where you’re going and what you’ll be doing, you may spend a lot of time walking around. Site seeing, hitting the trails, etc. So with that in mind, you should pack these Reusable Shoe Cushion Pads to help keep your feet comfortable, no matter what shoes you’re wearing!

These are fantastic because there are 18 pairs in different shapes and sizes to fit all your shoes! I would really recommend having these because who wants their vacation ruined by blisters? Uh, no one!

Last on my summer travel essentials list is to have a few Electrolyte Packets with you! Whether it be the sun, being too busy to remember to be drinking enough water, or simply one too many margaritas….you will be needing some help refueling and staying hydrated!
