Hey mama friend,

Being a mom is exhausting, but at the end of the day, it’s super rewarding because you get to watch your mini-mes do silly things and live life to the fullest. But most days, I don’t even have time to clear my head and relax fully.

I always want to look presentable when I leave the house, it’s a very important must for me so I want to share some ways to quickly and easily look fresh, awake, and not like a mombie… Here’s how to look more put together as a busy mom!

How To Look More Presentable As A Busy Mom

Wear Mascara

Ladies, it’s so important to wear mascara or something that accentuates your features, like red lipstick.

You don’t need to put on a full face of makeup, but a pop of blush or mascara can freshen up your face and make you look less tired (what is sleep?). If you use mascara and lipstick? Girl, you’ll be looking good! Pro-tip: try using a mascara that does the job in a few swipes!

Another option to save time to to get a professional lash lift. Your lashes will look curled 24/7, no lash curler required and it makes mascara optional! Try searching for someone in your area who does lash lifts and give it a try!

Accessorize

You can spice up any ‘fit with a necklace, bracelet, or a pair of earrings. Accessorizing your outfits makes you look like you totally had time to plan it, and you know what you’re doing!

Even just wearing a pair of stud earrings can instantly lift your look and make you look more put together. Who knew earrings had that kind of power? Layered bracelets and necklaces also are stylish options for throwing yourself together quickly, I love how you can get the trendy layered look in one affordable piece!

Have a Go-To Hairstyle

Find a cute, easy, and quick hairstyle and stick with it. When you don’t have time in the morning because the kids are already up, style your hair in under five minutes, and boom, you’re ready to tackle the day.

I personally find that keeping my hair short makes styling much easier. I have a lot of thick hair that is stubborn and difficult so keeping it short, makes it easier to style and work with. So find what best suits you and what makes your hair look the best and the least complicated.

Keep Your Nails Clean

Keeping your nails painted or manicured is a great way to look more put together. You don’t have to spend a ton of money to get your nails done each month, either! But if you do, remove your nail polish at home safely to save money on an extra trip to the salon.

You can apply a couple of coats of your favorite color and finish your nails with 30-second quick-drying nail drops (yes, those exist!). You can purchase a bottle at any retail store like Walmart or Target, so you can paint your nails and dry them in less than five minutes!

I have a ritual of doing my nails myself every Friday night so that my nails look fresh for the weekend and week ahead.

Moms are the most powerful women on earth, but it’s hard to show that on the outside after a long day! Now that you know how to look more put together as a busy mom, you’re ready to face anything life (or the kids) throws at you!
