5 Must-Read Books For The New Year

These books will be great self-motivation and inspiration! If self-help books aren’t for you, not to worry! The first 2 books on this list are story-based fiction novels if that’s more your thing! So let’s get to it!

The first book on the list is a fun and inspirational novel about friends turning 30 and creating a New Years’ resolution to go after this new phase of their lives with boldness and never guessing how life will change for them in the process.

Resolutions by Jenn Faulk is filled with fun, challenges, romance, and so much more! You will love this story all about personal resolutions and facing the unexpected! Available on Kindle and in paperback from Amazon.

The next book is one I have heard so much about and is at the top of my “to read” list! Written by one of my all-time favorite YouTuber’s Melanie Murphy, If Only is a novel about Irish Erin who is approaching 30 and questioning her life choices.

Upon receiving a special gift from her grandmother, a whole new world is opened to her. Could this be the answer Erin has been looking for – the key to the happy life she’s always dreamed of? Only time will tell…

With a dash of fantasy, a twist of love, and a whole lot of heart and imagination, this book will capture you and give you insight into the question of “if only.”  I am in love with everything about this book and with the lady who wrote it! I highly recommend checking it out!

Self Help/Non-Fiction

If you are into books that are more motivational in terms of content and more personal in nature, these may be for you! The first is You Are A Badass.  This is a fun book to help you start the new year on the right foot!

Last on the list is a popular read by world-dominating Rachel Hollis. Girl, Stop Apologizing is a shame-free plan for embracing and aching your goals! Rachel Hollis sounds a wake-up call.

She knows that many women have been taught to define themselves in light of other people—whether as wife, mother, daughter, or employee—instead of learning how to own who they are and what they want.

With a challenge to women everywhere to stop talking themselves out of their dreams, Hollis identifies the excuses to let go of, the behaviors to adopt, and the skills to acquire on the path to growth, confidence, and believing in yourself. Give a read to get you feeling ready to take on 2020!
