Easy Black Bean Soup Recipe
So as I said, this recipe is super simple. Nothing fancy, nothing time-consuming. Just your quick and easy black bean soup. Now, of course, you can make this your own and add anything you want to it if you want to spice it up a little.
It only takes maybe 10 minutes in total and is really good on a cold night! I like adding a piece of toast or some kind of warm bread or even a salad to go with it if you have the time. If not, that’s cool. This soup alone is pretty hardy.

The Recipe
Grab one can of black beans (or 2 if feeding more than 1-2 people!)
One can of diced tomatoes (you can also add a can of corn if you want to make this a heartier tortilla soup!)

Add your beans and tomatoes to half a cup of water and heat on the stove until bubbly and hot! (about 7 minutes)
Once the soup is ready, add your spices. A few dashes of salt ( I use this pink Himalayan salt. So good and a much healthier alternative to traditional salt.)
Then add a dash of pepper and a small dash of oregano. (plus anything else you may want!)
Top with a dollop of sour cream, crushed tortilla chips (if making as tortilla soup, if not then no chips) sprinkle of cheese and garnish with fresh cilantro, and voila! Hot and creamy, yummy and steamy black bean soup! 😉
Enjoy this simple yet totally yumm soup and get cozy! Make sure if you make this soup to take a pic and tag me on Instagram at @jessejaneblogs. For more classic fall recipes go here!
